I want my Mommmmy!

Yesterday did not end well. I retreated to bed at 6pm feeling incredibly nauseous, or what trained medical professionals term "pukey". Mr B sprang into action, he is just so caring, he covered the new carpet in our room with a towel and put the bin by the bed. Behold the pathos of Blighty in her sickbed!
Luckily for the carpet no upchuckage occurred but I did manage to fall over the bin in the middle of the night and wake Mr B. Ha!
PLEASE NOTE: NO BUSHBABIES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS POST

  1. Oh poor Blighty, tis awful to feel nauseous. Did Mr B not stay awake all night caressing your brow and utter soothing words of comfort?
Do hope you are on the mend, rest up, read and take care.
    xx

  2. I hope you feel better! I hope Mr B is supportive during your illness. Hope it's not the thought of a certain House Guest From Hell that's made you ill....Get well soon

  3. Good to see the use of the disclaimer... one can never be too careful these days. Take it from me... disclaimers everywhere. So pleased there was no puke... rough stuff that. Get well soon! A-M xx

  4. Dear Ladies, thank you for your kind words - Anne-Marie, no strangely no brow caressing from Mr B, he kept well away as we don't want the country grinding to a halt if he gets ill!! Also if he had tried brow caressing I would have thumped him.
FF - no, not House Guest anxiety, there is apparently some yuck bug going around, and I cannot even blame my malaise on over-indulgence in food or drink; just hope Boys don't get it
A-M - I am lucky, I am not a sick up person, last time I was vomitous was morning sickness, I infamously threw up in the ice bucket of a stretch limo in Miami in front of my colleagues from legal dept on way to airport; strangely no one wanted to sit next to me on the plane home and after a bit more upchuck action air hostess kept beady eye on me, as potential drunk air rage risk...oh the glamour. Even then Boy 1 was making his presence felt..
